7 DISHES YOU MUST MAKE ON EID-UL ADHA

Preparing traditional recipes on Eid-ul-Adha is an important aspect of our culture. Whether you admit it or not, Eid al Adha is all about scrimptions dishes made by our loved ones. It marks the beginning of barbecue sessions and overeating.  

Where on one hand, the sacrifice of our beloved animals makes our eyes watery but on the other hand, the food makes our mouth water.   1. Kalegi

The liver of the sacrificed animal is fried, roasted, or grilled with savory spices to prepare Kaleji. It is usually served as breakfast on Bakrid. The fresh liver is cooked with different spices and tastes best with naan or rumali roti.

  1. Beef Pulao

Pulao is one of my favorite dishes cooked on Eid ul Adha. In this recipe, rice is cooked in a beef stock that gives it a tremendous taste.

  1. Chapli Kebab

Chapli kebabs are fantastic starters typically served on Bakra Eid. These are luxurious patties of minced meat grilled or braised until perfectly cooked. They are spicy, tender, and just their aroma is enough to aggravate your hunger!

  1. Mutton Biryani

Mutton Biryani has a separate fan base due to its heavenly combination of fragrant rice and mutton cooked in flavorful marination. I don’t think there is a single dastarkhawn on Eid day which goes without having mutton biryani in it.
